A Nigerian man who identified as @Cross has shared on social media how a lady requested 550k from him after he wished her a happy birthday.
Sharing on the microblogging platform X, he noted that the lady had requested that he handled her birthday dinner.
The lady asked the man to handle her birthday dinner party which she stated was being organized for eight persons at an undisclosed restaurant.
The event which he described as something that caught him unawares, resulted to him blocking her on all platform.
Concluding the tweet, he added that he did not even spend up to that for his father’s 70th birthday, yet he appreciated his little effort.
He wrote;
“Just remembered that I wished someone a happy birthday earlier this year, and response was “thank you o Mr Cross, please I have a favor to ask…” (I didn’t even tell her to shoot, before she went) -• “So I’m meeting with my friends later this evening as so so and so restaurant, and I’m thinking budget should be around 550k for 8persons, can you please handle that?” My brothers, I was in shock!!
Didn’t even bother responding, I just deleted and blocked everywhere. These people can be really bold mehn!! Didn’t even spend near that sum at my father’s 70th, yet mans danced and celebrated like Angel Gabriel promised him a spot in heaven.”
