TalkTalk Sports can exclusively report that promising Nigerian attacking midfielder Jayden Bennetts will depart English Premier League club Watford at the end of the 2019-2020 season.
The former Flying Eagles invitee has played nonstop at the Hornets for approximately ten years, having joined the club at U8 level.
The 18-year-old Bennetts inked a one-year contract with Watford in the summer of 2019, with the club holding the option for a further twelve months.
The Vicarage Stadium outfit were going to trigger the one-year option on the midfielder but he asked for them not to and they accepted his request, paving the way for him to join a new club in the upcoming transfer window.
One of the most promising players at the Watford academy, Bennetts rose through the ranks before making his professional debut in an FA Cup third round replay against Tranmere Rovers in January 2020.
He was a key player for the Watford side that reached the semifinals of the prestigious FA Youth Cup during the 2018-2019 season.
