With loan deal ending, reports have it that Premier League giants Manchester United have failed to reach an agreement for Odion Ighalo’s loan extension with Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua.
The 30-year-old arrived the Old Trafford club on deadline day during the transfer window on a six-month loan and billed to expire on May 31, 2020.
According to UK outlet SunSport, United have failed to reach an agreement with the Chinese Super League club, and now the Nigerian is poised to return to the Asian country.

The former Super Eagles striker netted four goals for Manchester United in eight games to shun critics who earlier claimed he was not the right man for the club.
It was gathered that Ighalo earlier made a personal appeal to the management ot the Chinese club to allow him remain with the English club for a further six months.

Reports claim Shanghai Shenhua lowered their expectations for the former Super Eagles star as they were considering allowing the forward stay beyond his temporary stay.

Although, the Premier League outfit has gone silent on their quest to hand the forward a permanent deal having got his reign at the club to a bright start.
